Yup, just slide over the first coil just past where the top coil touches the second. That's what I did anyway. I have 315's and it looks good. No 4x4!

Just slide it on. A little Break Free will help.

pssh its called the GARDEN HOSE MOD garden hose slips right over it and holds on firm. I did this on my 98 b/c I had the eibach drag springs and they lifted it enough. I never had any problems with it at all and ran it for a few years until I got rid of the car.

The spring perch is on your rear so "clearing" really shouldn't be an issue. I have no problem with my 12-bolt. The ride height will be closer to what the Bilstein's were valved for.

I tried it yesterday, I switched out my BMR's with insolator for stock with hose. The stock with hose was about 1/4 inch higher.

I'm doing it this weekend hopefully...I'll try to take some pictures and maybe do a write up on it.

I want to get the car sitting and looking perfect so when the new motor goes it, I'll be set!

Take the heater hose and slide it over the end of the spring (like putting on a condom) Work it down one full coil. A shot of WD 40 or Brakefree will help. It takes about 1/2 hour to do the whole thing. Cool thing is, if you dont like it, just put it back the way it was. Hardest part is jacking up the cars and taking the wheels off!

So does it give the car a better stance even with the front at stock height??

With this mod, would an adjustable panhard rod and LCA relocation still be necessary for best results, or does it not change the geometry of the rear enough?
