Anyone ever removed the back insulaters on coil springs

If you are not lowering a whole lot and your arms aren't angled too greatly, I'd say that you could.

I did this tonight finally. It took me a couplel hours to get the springs off and then back on again - it might have had something to do with the Moser 9" I have, the "seat" of the spring seemed to be taller on the 9" than the seats I saw in pictures of the stock rear.

It lowered the car 3/4" on one side and 1/2" on the other side(the car has always been uneven for some reason). It doesn't really look any different though.
