Default Front Spring Install

i am having a problem getting off the rubber perch ontop of the front spring/shock combo up front. We have the nut off, however this rubber perch is not moving, does anyone have any ideas to get this piece off? Thanks for your help in advance

Have you pulled the shock off the assembly yet? If not, try tapping the stud with a hammer with the assembly on it's side until you slide it all out. Once the shock is off, then just pull the rubber perch off.

I just did mine and had the same problem. What I did was compress the spring enough to loosen it, remove the nut holding the shock on, then loosen the spring compressors. Eventually the spring just pushed it off. Don't worry, it won't fly off either.
