Default LCA's & panhard bar & rear sway bar

I don't know much about the suspension on my 02 Firehawk except that it has the 1le suspension. I am mainly interested in drag racing, but I do like for the car to feel good on those curvey roads. What do I really nead to get out of the 3 and what brand of suspension parts do I need to get. I know that I need the lca's because of wheel hop. I've been looking at the spohn suspension parts. What does the panhard bar and the rear sway bar do? My rear sway bar looks to be about 1/3 of the size of the front one. Please help, I don't know much about these parts.

For drag racing you want the Spohn 1" (25mm) rear sway bar. It will keep your rear end "flat" when you launch instead of twisting or driverside lifting.

If i was setting up i'd be looking to LCAs and an aftermarket Torque Arm.
And i'm partial to U.M.I. for fit/finish & price!

If you have the 1LE suspension you alread have very good shocks, springs, lower control arms, panhard bar, and sway bars....keep them. Get yourself some relocation brackets and an adjustable torque arm and you should be good to go.

Mine was a 1LE with Koni D/As. And i pulled the control arms (No heavier duty then stock) just harder bushings. The PHB was the same just bushings.
Yes you get a 31mm front and a 19mm rear bar. And as for the factory T/A
i'm not even going there. Yes the springs are a higher rating. But i prefer lowered on G2s

He should have a 35mm front bar and a 21mm rear bar. They are more than fine for what he wants to do. Why replace the control arms and PHB when you don't have to? He didn't say anything about lowering so I would stick with the 1LE springs also.

I am getting wheel-hop from somewhere, seams like it would be from the lca's but I don't know. About to spray 150 off the line and I would like the stock rear end to last atleast untill summer, so I need to get rid of the wheel hop. By the way 227HAWK, What kind of tires do you have on the FireHawk wheels(stock?)? Looking for some good looking hard high milage tires. Thay don't have to hook, thats is what the DR's are for. Thanks everyone!
