Default Another question about shocks...

Want to lower my car. I don't go to the track or autocross. I just like the look of a lowered vehicle. Looking to purchase DMS springs for the front and doing the heater hose mod for the rear or DMS all around (which ever looks better). My car is a daily driver. Every once in awhile I might launch it or take some corners pretty fast, but that's about it.

Will bilsteins HD do the trick or do I need to look at the Koni's?

Thanks for your help.

I'm in the same boat as you. I modified my car back in early 2000/ 2001 and went with the BMR lowering springs and their front and rear sway bars. The car has 19" wheels on it and sees absolutely "0" track time. The car is simply a weekend warrior and gets driven less than 5000 miles a year, basically a garage queen.

With that said, I am starting to realize that the stock decarbon shocks are time to go, but don't want to start over with new springs and sway bars. I'm not looking to pull over 1g on a road coarse, or burn up the local auto cross track, I'm just looking to compliment what I currently have.

Anyone???

Either Koni's or get a set of Re-valved HD's from Sam....
