guys i just bought a 2000 T/A and i just love it but after driving for any length of time my arms fell like i have been in a arm wreseling match is this normal and if not what could be the proublem and how would i fix it

Check your power steering system, and make sure you have the right amount of fluid in there. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

You seem to be referring to what is called "Tramming" . This is where your steering wheel seems to pull one way or the other and you're always trying to keep it going straight. Usually on rough roads, or roads with distinctive lines in them, or potholes. It's a trait that is associated with any car with wide tires, and seems to get worse under braking. It also gets a little worse with a performance alignment on the car instead of factory specs. My car does this as well, but I've gotten used to it.

as already stated above it is pretty much normal, if it is difficult to turn the wheel while stopped you might want to check the fluid other than that just be sure you hold on especially when stopping. after a while you will get used to it and actually know what streets/intersections etc. to expect it.

I have a 2001 Formula and have no problem with the steering, tramlining, etc. Yea I know cars with wide tires tend to follow ruts, but I drive it just as easily as if I were driving a luxury car. If you are really experiencing any difficulty, check out the system for any issues. As mentioned above, the fluid and pump are a good place to start. If the power steering pump dies, then it gets hard to steer.
