I have had the Level 1 on my car for the past 20K miles. For a daily driver it is great, and handles much better than the stock springs/Decarbons. It works very well on the autox course as well. I am replacing the Bilsteins with Koni's as I want adjustable shocks, and the springs with a Pro-kit because I want it lower for more negative camber up front. I plan to sell the shocks, but I am keeping the SLP Eibach's as I will probably swap back to them after the autox season is over.

Don't bother with the boxed arms; the boxing is fine but the poly bushings they use bind up, squeak and are generally not a good idea for LCA's. The 1LE stuff is fine for hard street use.

Thanks 1le. I guess the squeaks and rattles are nothing that a yearly spring greasing couldn't take care of. Should I get teh reenforced lcas and phr, or just stick with the basic setup?

Bear,
Go to SLPENG.com and go to the firehawk section. There is a post there of a guy who was doing 160 mph runs and turning while decelerating to 150 w/a firehawk with the SLP level 1 added and a stock WS6. The firehawk was hands down the winner in the handling department! Sounds like a very god set-up. Also, check ttperformance.com and hpaparts.com for the cheapest prices on this. i will be buying this soon along with Global west SFC's.

I'm with u JC! That is y I asked. I saw the price for this on HPA and TT Perfom and I want this. The problem is that there is NO rear sway in the package, and the front 32mm sway that it comes with, I already have on the SS. This is NOT the SAME package that u order when u do it OE. So the question is do I order EVERYTHING seperate with the 35mm front or do I suck it up and have an xtra front sway bar in 32mm. I will have to call Troy,MI and find out how much the OE package is with BOTH the 35mm front AND the 21MM rear. Does anyone want to buy a front 32mm sway bar for $50 shiped. Let me know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Default SLP Level 1 Suspenios Setup Any Good?

Hey guys, my wife has an 02'base SS with no options. The car is good but the nose dive and the body roll leaves something to be desired. I am looking at the SLp Lev 1 kit and it has the Bilst., Eibachs, F sway and rear lca's, and a PHR. I am also going to add DD SFC's as well. The package price is hard to beat. I want to use this car at local auto cross stuff nothing really big, and my wife drives the car 90 miles a day on the hgwy back and forth to work. Is the package worth it? Will it be a NOTICABLE difference? Any input or help would be appreciated. Thanks Bear
