Re: 21mm rear sway bar vs 22mm
A sway bars stiffness increases at a rate of four times the diameter. So, a 1mm increase can be on the order of 10-30% (depending on the original bar size). The stiffer bar will help keep the rear flat (and probably add oversteer), but may make it hard to put down power on a tight course....just my thoughts.

Re: 21mm rear sway bar vs 22mm
I have been following alot of "trackbird" post, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is very far along in his knowledge of these cars.
You should strongly consider changing BOTH front and rear bars. I most recently replaced my stock hollow Z28 bars with the RKSport solid 35MM front and 25MM rear, and the difference in the way the car handeled was tremendous. It seems that now, there is NO lateral movement of the chassy at all when going fast into a strong head wind, the car seems much more solid than before, more so when cornering.
Good luck with your decision.

Re: 21mm rear sway bar vs 22mm
thanks guys i talked to strano the other day and he says most of the oversteer is ususlly caused by driver error (improper handling) im thinking if i already have a 35mm front sway bar and a 19mm rear bar, it feels like theres slight oversteer but if i up grade 2mm more the oversteer wouldnt be there as much am i right?

Re: 21mm rear sway bar vs 22mm
I think it would have more low speed oversteer with the larger bar. Most folks do a 35mm front and a 19mm rear for AutoX. For open track stuff, some prefer a 21mm rear with the 35mm front.
I wouldn't think you would need to go up to a 22mm. Maybe not though, all depends on what you like. I have the 35mm front with the 19mm rear. I like it pretty good but I've not been on a road course with it either. I might pick up a used 21mm rear just to play with.
I do pick up a bit of understeer in high speed sweepers now but I think alot of that is my lack of experience in the really fast stuff.
