Default AutoZOne rotor and Pad question

I'm going to buy the autozone blank rotors and duralast gold pads.(Front only) Do you guys think this wiil be a good combo? Will they work well? And does anyone have experience with these pads/rotors?

A guy local runs low 11's on the O'Reilly stuff. I think its called Brake best. He said they work for him & if they can stop his car runnin that fast they should be good for most people. Unless you just gotta have a brand name, ride your brakes hard all the time or got extra cash to burn.

I'm gettin ready to throw a set on the front. Already bought them, just gotta put them on.

I think they should be ok. I never ride the brakes. hell i barely use them. (downshift)
