Default front swaybar help

I hear rumers around the track that if u remove ur front swaybar, that it will help with weight transfer (drag racing only) i was wondering if this was true?

It's absolutly true. It takes a lot of weight off the very front of the car so it hooks better.

It's not just about weight savings. The front sway bar limits the travel of the front springs. Removing the bar removes this restriction, helping weight transfer.

I think it would be cool to see a good comparison to see how much time unhooking or removing the sway bar actually makes.
Anyone know?
Would it matter on street tires, and a non drag race setup?

Will it work if you just unhook one side of the front sway bar?

It's more so the travel, I know of a lot of guys who just unbolt for the runs.

Sure extra few lbs never hurts to shave though.

ya for sure cause these cars arent that light anyways, plus mines a vert! Itll pick the drivers side up bout 6-7 inches but the passengers side stays on the ground!
