Default freak accident

ok so i was driving down the road last night going about 50 or so and i see this deer at the end of the road. I start to slow down to about 40 or so and keep a close eye, then suddenly he decides to cross the road. I slam on my breaks and reach a dead stop before hitting the damn animal, but i noticed that just before i stopped my Brake light came on for a second. It went away as soon as i took my foot off the brake and then on the rest of the ride home felt fine. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this and/or if there is a possibility of any problems because of that.

Did you get the BRAKE light like you pulled your e-brake or did you get a LOW TRAC light. If you got the second light it was just your traction control letting you know that you have low traction and its doing something, now if you got the first light then i have no idea.

Might be low on brake fluid and the nose diving like it did might have tripped a sensor. I know Tacomas brake light wil lcome on if your fluid isnt high enough.

I know on my car(99 Z28) if you engage the ABS, the low trac light will come on.

Most likely fluid level, when you hit the brakes that hard the nose will dive and the fluid in the reservoir will go foward, it went below the sensor and kicked the light. Check your fluid just incase, thats my guess.
