Default Torque arm ???

I have a 84' firebird that has all Spohn stuff in the rear which are all adj., i also have rear end stuff from Leo Barnaby from Neverlift Racecrafts in NJ., which are not adj. but alot lighter, lca, panhard bar is in stock locations, and the torque arm is 7" shorter then Spohn's, it looks like BMR's X-treme torque arm, what i'm getting at, is a shorter torque arm better than a longer one for hard launches, ( like between 4,500 & 6,600 ), because my car will either spin like a street car or stand the car on the bumper, i have limiters on front end, koni adj. struts, rear i have QA1 single adj. Wolfe's racecraft's adj. rear coil kit that goes in where the stock coil spring would be, and mini tubs, above the rear anti-roll bar kit, some one told me that a longer torque arm would make the car more vilent off the line, but i'm not sure, so i have a SBC 440" N/A, th 400, Moser 12 bolt 4.30's, as of today i've been 9.19 @ 148. Thanks. JR.
