Installed the hotchkis springs yesterday!
With the help of john (408maro), I finally installed my hotchkis 1" drop springs on my 02 camaro ss. I think that everything came out excellent...

Looks real good!! Did it actually lower your car 1" or was it more? Do you have any before and after ground to fender measurements? Also, how did the feel of the car change? Is it a lot quicker in corners, tighter feel, rougher etc./??? Any info. is appreciated, I am considering Hotchkis springs.

I did the Hotchkis springs with Bilsteins just a little over a week ago. It's like a new, better car. I'm very happy with the springs, they provide a stock-feeling ride, until you really start to tax the suspension. Then they really shine.
I think the most pronounced difference in my setup was at very high speed on the highway. It used to be that upwards of 90mph I really had to work to control the car...it had a very floaty feel to it, like the slightest jolt in the steering would put me in a wall or something. Now once the car hits 80mph, it feels like it "grabs on", 100mph+ is super smooth, rock solid...now it's the opposite of before, it feels like i could attempt a 90 degree turn at 100 and the car would do it with no problem.

Thanks for the replies to my questions guys!! I am just having a hard time deciding between the Hotchkis and Strano springs, mainly because I don't want more then a 1" drop. I am also probably going with Bilstein Revalves. Thanks again, this forum is great!!
