Default drop spring install need help ASAP

hey guys i am helping a friend install some drop springs but we ran into a snag on the front drivers side. the 2 rear bolts holding the strut in under the hood are torx heads (mine were normal bolts, his passenger side is normal bolts) anyways the problem is i cant get a torx bit in the outside rear bolt ( closest to the fender, closest to the rear of the car, under the hood) the master cylender is only clearing the top of the bolt by about half a inch not enough to get a bit in it. what do i do??? is there a way around removing the master and having to blead the brakes or is that what i have to do?

2 nuts hold the MC onto the booster.

Remove those 2 nuts. There is enough spring and give in the brake lines to move the MC slightly out of the way and get a wrench on the upper shock assy bolts.

Then take the 2 bolts out of the passenger side and put them on the driver's side and use the Torx on the passenger side. That way, you'll never have this issue again.

I just took the MC loose and took the 2 nuts loose on the abs block and moved the whole unit out of the way thats the easiest way. Then you can get the t-50 on the bolt easy.

I tried to do mine that way and the hard lines to the abs block would not allow me to move it enough out of the way. Takes 2 more seconds to remove the nuts on the abs block and the whole assembly moved out of the way giving you plenty of room.

I worked with a mechanic on mine. I too was a bit concerend when I got to these bolts. he said take off the master cylinder, I was expecting to loose break fluid etc... but there was nothing.
Well we took it off, moved it out the way and managed to take off the torx bolts. I have fitted the torx bolts to the passenger side so when I get to them again I shouldn't have to removed the master.
