Default front shocks

what are the best non coilover shocks to use on my 99 camaro with tubular front a-arms, im kinda of on a budget so i dont wanna go too crazy.Thanks for all help..

The front suspension on these cars is a true non-adjustable coil-over-shock design from the factory. Best and budget don't necessarily go hand in hand, but neither does cheapest and value.

Lowering the car at all? If not, Bilstein HDs are a good choice for around $400 for all 4. If you are lowering, at a minimum Strano's revalved Bilstein HDs which are around $550 I think, but on backorder. Top of the line (for most people here) are Koni SA's, which are up there around $750-800.

Can't you just get front Koni's for like 425 or something? I don't Sam will know just call him.

Koni's SA are the best. (relatively speaking)
