First time ever on a road course, Strano Springs and Koni SA's As part of www.race4awish.com this past Thursday, I ran for the first time ever on a road course. BeaveRun was the road course.
We had about 12 or 14 cars ( don't recall exact number ) and I was able to get a good 7 20 minute sessions.
I ran a 1.14.1 on the track.
What a great time, I love autocross but road racing is so much fun. Only looped the car one time, out of turn 7 over the hill.
Ran Hawk HPS pads, turned the Brembo rotors blue but no cracks. Was able to compete in an autox the next day (also at BeaveRun) and come in 4th out of the same size group, AND drive home to Cleveland still on the same pads. Front tires were toast. All on Strano springs and Koni SA's.
