Default Does your car have the best stance??? Come inside!!

Hey everyone,

I thought it would be interesting to see what everyones height of there cars were...what I mean by this is, the height from the ground to the lip of the fender on both the front and the rear of the car.

There are some great stances that people have gotten out of there cars and was curious as to what the heights were on the fronts and rears..

I know that cars will vary, and the ground you measure on might not always be completely flat, tires not always inflated properly, etc... but I thought it would be interesting to see aprox. what everyone has there cars at.

What I would like is for people to post:

1. Front height in inches measured centered on the wheel of course from the ground to lip of front fender.

2.Rear height in inches measured the same way.

3. if you have a picture of your car to show off the stance so we can get an idea of what each ride height combination looks like.

If you want you can post what suspension setup you have, but the whole point for this thread is just to see what ride height on the front and rear give what stance...

I know there is a sticky with pictures of cars that show different spring setups etc.. but it doesn't show the info I am asking. I have a Ground Control kit and have been playing with the heights to try to get the best stance (which is of course based on personal opinion) and want to see what everyone else has to get a better idea of what I want to set it at.

I would post my info up, but at the moment I am across the world from my car, and will be returning home on June 12th after having been gone for 5 months.

So if you are not too lazy and want to get in on this and post up, I think it would make for an interesting thread....plus, c'mon who doesn't like to look at cars with some sweet stances to them??

So Please Help this thread out and get that tape measure out and post up!!

Stock Ride Height.
Suspension Mods in sig.

:::::::::: Fender :::::: Inside ::::: Fender :::::
:::::::::::: To ::::: Wheel Well ::::: To ::::::::
:::::::::: Ground ::::: To Tire :::::: Tire :::::::
---------------------------------------------
**DRIVER**
FRONT::: 26.75" :::::: 4.25" ::::::: 1.75" ::::::
REAR::::: 27.75" :::::: 6.25" ::::::: 2.75" ::::::

**PASSENGER**
FRONT::: 26.75" :::::: 4.00" ::::::: 1.75" ::::::
REAR::::: 26.75" :::::: 5.25" ::::::: 1.75" ::::::

Interesting that only my driver's side rear is 1" higher.
(Probably for the theory that it'll level out with a driver.)

Some people on here that have measured their stock ride height have come up with higher numbers than mine.

I think my ride height is low enough. I don't want my car any lower than it is now.

That's interesting...it does sound like it sits lower that most stock cars with those measurements. I know my old T/A was one of the ones that sat WAY too high, so your right, your car sits pretty good with the stock setup.

Any pictures?

DMS Springs. these pics are after my 6.0 swap. its definately low. it depends on the person, i tolerate it scraping very little every now and then. you just gotta learn how to get around without scraping, where you can and cant go.

Update:

well I am back in the country now so I was able to take some new pictures and measurements..

When I got the car it was at 25 1/4" front, 26" rear

That was too low for me and I scraped on everything so I raised it and now it is:
26" Front
26 1/2" Rear...I think I am going to raise the rear another 1/4-1/2" to give it more of the agressive stance I am looking for.

Here she is as she sits now:
