I've had my LCAs on and off myself a dozen times. Another person might make things easier, but its definitely not very hard yourself.

I swapped out my LCA's by myself. Just do one side at a time and you should be fine.

heh, I was sitting there thinking "RCB...Remote Control Bearing? Radial Counter Balance?"

I did my relocation brackets myself too. Mine were BMR (gone now that I have a 12-bolt), so I followed these instructions:
http://www.bmrfabrication.com/INSTALL/CAB001.pdf

It probably took me about an hour or so to install the relocation brackets. Lower control arms were maybe 45 minutes.

I did mine with a buddy, considering I had 0 experience with suspension and he had done a 4" lift by himself on his truck in his driveway. You can easily do it yourself though. GO to www.InstallUniversity.com I used their site for some good advice. Good luck!

I just finished taking my rear out and putting back in (after some detail work) ... just me, myself, and I. Of course, I have a ton of tools and jacks so it made things simpler.

I don't believe you need relocation brackets if you aren't lowering your car.

No. You can install aftermarket LCAs w/o a relocation bracket. If you want relocation bracket, you can install them later. A relocation bracket is not necessary for aftermarket LCAs. A relocation bracket is an optional item to change the angle of the LCAs. It is recommenced when lowering though and can help traction during launching.

I assume you mean the parking brake brackets. And yes, they need to be modified.

I used a dremel to cut off the bracket where it wraps around on the inside (the L shaped portion closest to the differential), then painted the exposed metal. The emergency brake seems to work fine.

The only other thing you could do is to drill a hole close to the edge of the brackets where you cut them off, then drill and tap a hole in the metal plate behind it (on the rearend assembly) so you can bolt it to that mounting area to keep it from sliding around.
