Default Rear C5 brake conversion on LT1 question

I know it has no benefit, but I'm doing the front and I like how the C5 calipers look so thats why I'm doing the rear as well. The question is, can I live without my e-brake? My car is an automatic and I have probably only used it a few times in the 6 years I've owned it. If I remove the e-brake cables and hardware from the rear calipers, is it going to really mess anything up. The C% rear calipers don't have the e-brake set-up that fits, and I know the LS1 f-bodies also have a different set up in the rear. Has anyone done the conversion on an LT1 car? Thanks in advance.

The C5/C6 rear setup is very similar to the LS1 rear disc setup. You'll be better off going with the LS1 setup, IMHO, rather than trying to swap the 'vette rear discs on your car.
