Default Is my shock nut loose, or what?

I get a slight rattling noise from the front passenger side suspension (I think). It only happens at low speeds on bumpy roads, going over speed bumps, breaking, and low speed left turns. Tie rods and ball joints are good according to the wheel wiggle check.

Car is also rather unstable at high speed. If it's still making noise I can't hear it over the exhaust at speed. I had the alignment checked and all is good there.

Any ideas or anyone experience the same?

wheel bearing?

is it a poping/knocking or just a rattle?

rattle=pop the hood check the shock tower bolts. if that doesn't help. take off the wheel and make sure everything is tight

pop/knocking=lower aarm bushings going bad. that's what's happened to my car now. everytime i hit a bump/divit/anything it pops like a SOB...

I'm reviving this thread because I am experiencing the same thing. My car is a BONE STOCK 02 WS6 Trans am with 38,xxx miles. When driving slowly though my neighborhood I hear and very faintly feel a slight hollow knocking on the driver side. I have checked the tightness of most of the bolts and was almost prepared to purchace new struts for the front until I ran into this thread. I read elsewhere that I need to check the lower control arm bolt because they loosen up. Is there anything else that could be the problem? I may be wrong but I imagine this is a problem for lots of others
