hay just got c5 corvette front calipers $200 i think i got ripped!!!
hi guys i just got front c5 brake calipers and brackets off a corvette for $200 i dont know if i got a good deal or not, and will these directly fit onto my brake system 99 camaro ls1 with the 16 inch rims thanks guys

I paid $250 for mine brand new with pads. $200 isn't a bad deal. People get $150 all day long for their LS1 conversion stuff.
However, if you're going to keep your 16" wheels, turn around and sell the C5 stuff. I believe if you want to just bolt them on, you keep your current LS1 brackets and replace the calipers with the Corvette calipers. You won't be gaining any braking power though since the C5 calipers actually clamp less than the LS1 calipers do. On the flip side, the C5 calipers won't spread because they've got more reinforcing ribs.
For another $200 you can get the C5 rotors from Autozone ($85) and the brackets from another company online ($115). but you need 17" wheels.

you can get loaded calipers for a vette at an auto parts store for $100 each side after exchange with a lifetime warranty. if you stick your fbody calipers in the box they will never tell the difference.
