Default Tie Rod end replacement!!

Fixing up a wrecked 2001 TA Replaced the Lower control arm and now have to replace the Drivers side tie rod end... How do you pop that ball out of the plastic end piece???

Maybe it's just me, but I don't know what plastic piece your talking about. You mean the rubber boot? Are you trying to take the tie rod out of the knuckle?

The tie rod end is one piece. I'm pretty sure you can't pop them out. If you're refering to removing the tie rod end from the spindle you have to use a pulley remover. I had to go through two different ones to get it to fit. If you aren't going to reuse them though I'm pretty sure you could just hit them out with a hammer. Just don't miss and whack something else.

Get a set of these. I heard from a few members that they are great. Gets rid of the tramlining.
