Most people don't run more than 22mm!

Why do you "need" such a big bar?

Yeah, I had a 24mm from my old thirdgen WS6 on my '98 and it was WAY too stiff, and the car was wayy too tail happy. Would be great for drag racing though. I'm pretty sure that's how Spohn advertises their bar too.

Damn 25mm? Any thicker and that'll be a stock front swaybar!

I have the same bar from Spohn. Had no install problems and it clears my Bilst. shocks easily. What type of shocks you running? And i love this bar. It plants the rear very nicely!

Yeah that's what happens with too big of a rear bar like that.

Big rear bars and no front bar is only for track drag racing. The opposite of what you want to handle curves

Yeah im a drag car cam only setup trying to run some ten's but i had competition eng shock at first but now i got qa1's. The rear sway bar rubbed on the competiton shocks and the qa1's are twice the diameter of the other ones. If i bought the sway bar mounting kit would that set the sway bar down lower and give me more space between the shocks? I just mounted the sway bar with muffler clamps in stead of paying 70 bucks for the kit. Guess i shouldnt have been such a cheap *** and just bought the mounting kit lol. Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm running the Spohn 25mm in the rear too with no problems. If you go through the pics in my sig you might be able to see the clearances.

I guess my car is just a freak of nature cause i had it set up identical to yours and it had maybe a cm of space and then when i would launch the car they would hit the shock. pisses me off I guess I will try it again and see what happens thanks for all the help.

I have an Addco 25mm rear bar on my car and don't have any fitment problems using the stock shock mounting locations. Albeit I'm using Koni's. FWIW, I do autocross and it works well for me because I lowered my rear roll center
