Corvette front brakes vs. F-body's

Corvette front brakes vs. F-body's The calipers look the exact same to me but I'm pretty sure the Corvette uses a 13" rotor so I'm assuming that the caliper is physically bigger than the F-bodies. Is the Corvette caliper the exact same as the f-body, just physically bigger in size with bigger pistons? How much better is it over the fbodies brakes? Will I be able to tell a difference in daily driving as well as highway if at all? I would also assume that there will be less peddle fade because there is more surface area to absorb and dissipate the heat, anything else? Thanks.

c5 = 12.8" rotor
Both are two piston, C5s being slightly smaller. C5 is pressure cast body though. Perhaps resists spreading more.
It truthfully depends on the rotors and pads you use. Assuming you would bleed with the same good fluid either way and use the same lines, of course.
I used crap pads and rotors and with a good bleed and new front lines (on the same tires) was stopping slightly better than using same brand pads and rotors in fbody configuration.
I have yet to put my Hawks on so I don't know what my potential is yet.
