Shock bolt under master cylinder? help am i using wrong tool??

Default Shock bolt under master cylinder? help am i using wrong tool??

i was reaading on ls1howto.com how to do front shock change. well i looesend up the brake master cylinder and i dont see anyway of getting that torques bit in there.
i dont know if theres another tool but i'm using the 3/8s drive socket type torqes bit. is there another tool? i cant get it to fit in there

Once you pull the nuts off of the master cylinder, you have to pull the master cylinder out and tilt it off of the studs on the brake booster. Then you should be able to get it loose with a 3/8 ratchet and a torx bit. That's how I've always done them.

Don't yank on it, just pull enough to tilt it out of the way.

When you get those shock bolts off, swap them to the passenger side so you don't have this problem again.
