Default New torque arm bushing mount for M6 trans

Here's what happens when you have to much time on your hands. LOL
I have allways though the factory torque arm bushing mount that bolts onto the M6 trans is Poor, stamped steel with one bolt holding the bushing together. I tryed a relocator bracket but got a lot road noise. The trans mount helps isolate a lot of the noise it seems. So I made this,(I know I know) WAY over engineered, figure it's 250% stronger than it needs to be, but what the heck! only a couple of lbs more that the orginal unit but a bunch stronger.

Some more pic's with it mounted up to a tail shaft with the bushing, are here.

Very nice. I had drawn up something similar and sent
it to Yank to see if they'd build it (A4 is what I need).
Never seen anything from that.

It looks like you're first on the "market". You wanna
make me a one-off A4 version?

It would be nice if we could get enough interest in something like this maybe one of our LS1TECH sponsors what mfg's stuff like this would build it!

I can't be the only one who has thought of the need for this!

Hmm I have the relocation bracket and dont get any road noise. Maybe a very very little bit but nothing a passenger would even notice. I have the poly motor mounts and the stock tranny mount and a poly TA mount. Its perfect that way .
