Just installed some new ceramic brake pads of the checker variety. Have had them on for less than 200 miles, but It seems that the brakes have a ton less "bite" than they should. I think that the rear calipers arent even hooking up. I have started to get a blue heat ring on the front calipers so I have to assume they are taking a huge amount of the brake load, causing them get hotter, and also making the car harder to stop. Anyone else ran into this? I need some help here
