Autozone Rotors
Hey, I just bought a complete set of autozone rotor blanks and some raybestos quiet stop pads for the front and pg plus in the rear. Do I have to sand these rotors before I use them?

Re: Autozone Rotors
yeah i just used some brake cleaner and wiped them off. i did paint the center part of mine so they would not get a rusty color. i suggest that as well as painting your calipers.. my front autozone are good.. my stock rears are warped to hell now..autozones are gooood

Re: Autozone Rotors
yeah just some high temp engine paint will do just fine. just put a couple layers on it and they will look good. just keeps the rust off..mine still look good after 6 months, dirty cause they are hard to wash but i can still see some red under the dust. lol

I agree with everyone else. Except the paint on my Autozone rotors peeled off. I cleaned them really well too then put on 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear. Never again will I do that.
