These seem really good for the money. Cheaper than stoptech, includes stainless lines. 43mm caliper.

They seem to have a lot of articles (about half the links are bad due to the other people changing them.). Seems like they would be almost as good as the stoptech for about 700 bucks less.
I just would hope the replacement parts wasn't super high.

I've seen the Tri-power's installed in an article before, but they didn't get the spindles with the kit... I wonder how much that would cut the cost (of either one). But may I ask why the 4 piston kit is cheaper than the three piston tri-power kit? And I'm assuming the spindle upgrade is to the '98 and up style?

I"m getting these for MY LS1 car hopefully.
If you need ls1 spindles taht would be about 150 bucks. Looks like they made a 4 pistion for ls1 and 3 pistion for lt1 styles.
Now back on topic who has these installed? How was the install? How was they compared to stock?
I think for the money these look good.

Ok, that has to be a typo... search '98 and up F-bodys, look at the prices for the kits available, then look up a '97... the Tri-Powers are over a grand more expensive on the earlier style?
Anyways, lets see some comparos to both the Tri-Power and the Extreme 4-piston setups. I'm definately interested.

Found This Thread By Accident...let Me Say This. Ive Never Personally Owned A Set Of Brakes From Ssbc. But...i Did Actually Work For The Company Itself.
Its A Local Company Out In Lancaster N.y. By Buffalo. I Worked Ther For A Few Months When I Came Off Of Active Duty Army, Before I Became Law Enforcement. The Whole Family Races And Restores Old Race Cars. They Are "absolutely!!!!" Freaks When It Comes To Quality. They Accept Nothing But The Best Most Perfect Product They Can Manafacture. I Only Worked There For A Few Months But When I Was I College And Worked At The Local Speed Shop We Had Many Customers For Their Equipment Locally Alone. And The Owners Would Frequent The Shop And Buy Parts From Us As Well.
Only Bad Thing I Know Of?.....their Ford Lovers. Saleens And Old Boss Stangs Everywhere In The Warehouse. And To Me ...thats Not Too Bad.

My SSBC rotors rusted in about 2 days after installing them. Granted I only bought the sloted stock replacement rotors, but I am unhappy with how fast they got nasty. Maybe I got an uncoated set, but that is doubtful

Hmm. That don't seem the best.
Everything else I see is pretty postive on this company.
I know somebody on this board has to own these surely!
You get free powder coated calipers until oct 31st.

Even plated rotors will rust. The pads grind off the plating from the working part of the rotor very quickly. The plating only protects the hub area and interior fins.
Park your car on a damp day, come back an hour later, and the rotors will be rusty. That's just the way it is.

^ right on
and. I personally just cant see why one would pay 1,000 bucks for that kit when a C5 upgrade will give you more braking power than 275s can take. Probably 315s as well.
But people like to spend their money on different things I guess.
