sportline front springs with stock rear springs?
I just got my first paycheck and I am going to try and get my car lowered. Right now it looks like I have a backwards "rake". I have done the heater-hose mod on my rear springs, and I have replaced the rear shocks with new stock ones. My question is, would it be bad for my car if I put on some Eibach Sportline springs in the front and aftermarket shocks? I'm happy with my rear spring height, but the front is horrible.
Here is a picture of how my suspension looks now:

when i had the sportlines on my car, it was dropped at least 2"....it was really really low. i really liked the look, and actually it worked pretty well even at the strip, but we have some monster speed bumps at work so i finally went to strano's springs. but while they were on backorder i had to do something, so i put a half inch spacer in the rear and left the fronts alone. it helped the clearance a lot, and looked pretty cool. with the 9" rear it pry meant the rear was lowered about 1 1/4" and the front was lowered 2". i think going to stock in rear and sportlines in front would be a little extreme. i only had a 1/2" to 3/4" difference and it was noticeable, a 2" difference would too much, especially with the rear at stock height.

I fixed the picture. Thanks for the replies I've gotten, and to jdustu: after doing the heater-hose mod on my rear springs, it is suprisingly lower than normal height so I'm sure it won't be a full 2 inch difference. The only place where there are speed bumps that are hard to get over, are at my school. I can still find routes that go around them though.

i'm running that spring setup
front - eibach sportlines with KYB AGX shocks
frear - stock springs with summit 3 way adjustable drag shocks and no isolators
loos great, the sportlines lower the rear a bit too much, esp. with my true duals now. i hardly get over anything without scraping some part of the exhaust, but such is the life of a lowered car and LT/TD's

because i wouldnt buy a set of 4 & just use 2. if i bought 4 id use 4.
but if i could buy just 2 id use them. besides im not really that happy with how low mine is, im thinking of putting a "prokit" on instead
the rear of yours like a "prokit" drop to me 1-1.5" drop, looks good

Do you guys think my handling will be as good as if not better than stock with this setup? I will get SFC, PHR, and other obvious suspension/chassis mods. I will definitely get a good pair of shocks.
Thanks to all of you who have replied already!

Just get some Koni SA's and do the lower perch in the front for a 3/4" drop. Youll kill two birds with one stone, you get a drop and some awesome shocks for ride and handling.

Okay, so I have decided against Sportlines because of how low they are and the bad things I hear about them. I have decided against a ProKit because of the rear sagging issue, and because it is possible to get a saggy set instead of a stiff one. What spring/shock combination will provide me with a lower, meaner stance without hurting my handling and ride comfort? I won't be able to purchase any adjustable Koni shocks any time soon, so are there any other possibilities for what I am looking for?
I was thinking some of Sam Strano's springs, but what shocks would be good for them?

I am in the same boat but I have about $600 bucks to spend and cant decide what shock/spring combo will work good. I also would love all Stranos gear and some Koni shocks but that is like $ 1200-$1500 bucks but no one will give opinions on any other shocks they all just say call Sam well Sam only recommends very expensive shocks said he couldn't even recommend a set for under $400. now I'm sorry but you telling me a set of unvalved Bilstiens or some tokeco shock wont be better than stock ? I would also love some opinions that don't all say buy this one guys stuff sorry for the hijack
