Exclamation car is leaning to the right...

All of a sudden i noticed my car is leaning to the right in the back is it the shock absorber or the spring? you can totally tell when you look at the gap between the fender and tire...

Could be a possible BAD shock or... in my case the body was shifted about 1-1/2" to the right causing the sag look.Any adjustable panhard rod will cure that problem. If you havent replaced your shocks, I'd start there.

Of the 3 F-body Camaro's I've had (1 LT1, 2 LS1's) They all seemed to be slightly lower on the rear right corner, so I guess it's "normal". I still don't know why this is.

Mine does it as well. I've removed my rear left spring and reinstalled it, problem still wasn't fixed.

I've heard people speculate that they're like that to offset the weight of the driver, but I've seen other 4th gen f-bodys without this problem. Mine's about 1/2" higher in the left rear.

My car's never been in a moving collision, got hit when it was parked at about 2mph. I'm lowered on hotchkis springs, stock shocks in rear, kyb agx in the front. I know the ride sucks but to my understanding it is the springs that determine ride height. I'm going to be going with some Koni 4th gen shocks in the rear and an adj. panhard bar pretty soon. Then getting it aligned again.

Does anyone have a pic of how the rear springs should sit on the perches/axle?

power goes to right rear..this is the most feasable answer....also..spare is there sometimes.....or bottle.....or storage.

There are a million posts. Almost all the cars sit higher on the one side. I doubt a shock that you can compress with your hand is causing the car to sit wrong too lol

Default Leaning to the passenger side

My 1995 Z does not lean at all. However my 2002 Z28 is about an inch lower on the passenger side rear. Have replaced springs/shocks - still there. Was thinking about the panhard bar to center the rear in the car. I do not remember the car being this way when I purchaced it new. Could be the torque transfer has tweeked the body - don't know?

actually, its called the CHEVY lean. and its mostly because the torque gets supplied to the right rear wheel first .
