Default Racing Video Clips - with Strano setup

This is a spectator drag event at our local short track which combines elements of road racing and drag racing in one. This should give you an example of what the setup can do.

Round 1: Me vs an older Impala I think
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R3FFEBpceI

Round 2: Me vs Art G's silver 3rd gen Camaro
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzWAc_Ww88M
Art may have won this round had he held on in turn 4

Round 3: Me vs blue 3rd gen Trans Am
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up664X6_G7M

Round 4: Me vs Mark D's black Thunderbird ( both attempts )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3BX7VwhdWU
Great clip

Round 5: Me vs Mark D Jr's black Mark VIII
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcZ0VQLw97I

Final Round: Me vs Al A's green LT1 Camaro 2 laps and victory lap
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le7eyczprLs

My suspension consists of Koni SA's 4/3 gen, Strano springs, ST 35mm front swaybar, BMR 21mm rear swaybar, 17x11 OE Concept wheels all around with 315/35/17 nitto drag radials all around.

The swaybars I would have gone with the Strano bars if I had knew he existed when I installed them. I am also still on the stock 3.42 gears and T2 differential.

Oh no, I hate it when people call it that like I'm posting in the street racing section. Haha. I just wanted to show people what a strano/koni setup and 35mm front/21mm rear setup looks like on the track.

These guys are all really great drivers, especially in round 2, 4, 5, and 6. The green Camaro driver is actually a member on this forum.

Most drivers it never happens to. It has happened to me once out of 5 years of doing it. I have a small 4 inch crack in my driver side door with a bit of maroon paint. Not going to bother fixing it though until I retire from this event for good.

Great Runs! Is that your daily car as well?

You have great front and rear grip. Not even one slip from what I could see.
Is the moter stock??

I'd like to see you out there with a few mustangs and corvettes.

No my motor isn't stock. It has a custom cam, around 224/228 duration and the GMPP C5 z06 ported cylinder heads. I dynod at exactly 400 rwhp. If I had known back then what I know now, I would have done AFR heads instead

That looks like a lot of fun! Good job, and showing how your car can take off from a dig pretty well.

Also, note that surface is worse than the street for launching.

They are the black OE Concepts zr1 wheels, 17x11 all around 50mm offset. Nitto 555r drag radials 315/35/17 all around.

Since we are already on this sidetrack....
Do you run spacers? Any rub issues? Any pics from the front(sometimes 11s look odd on camaros)?
I've been considering 11s all around.
I've read the sticky on FRRAX, but I like to ask guys who r running them.
