Default wheels up?

Ive seen many low 12 sec f bodys pull the front wheels. I am runnign11.7 @116 with 1.6 sixtys on quick time pros. I have skinnys in front. Im really not pulling the front wheels. I only have stock 3.23's. Is this why? Or is it because im running a completely stock suspension. If so what sus mods will help me pull the wheel a tad? also will a better sus lower my ets? I really dont feel any wheel spin and I hate to add weight. thnaks for oyur input

If the car is hooking up, why worry about the wheel stand. If you running in the 11s your good. I get the wheels up with a 100 shot out of the hole. You can do it on motor with 3.90-4.11s but need atleast 480-525 ftlbs and a strong torque arm tranni mount.

Wheels up looks bad to the bone, but so do 300ft smoky burnouts. I've seen camaros go 10.50's and not lift a wheel. All that matters is that you hook and go.

But I have to admit, when my build is done I secretly hope I end up with a wheels up video of my car. Given the choice of low 11's in the air or high 10's planted, I'll take 10's.

Nahh it was the rear yoke. The loop is so the front of the shaft does'nt hit the ground. The car ran consistant 11.02s 11.10s 11.16s w 100 shot w/ slicks. Drag or street radials always added 5 or 6 tenths. Now the car is waiting for a cage. The local track techs got wind of the car and tech the **** out of it now. I think the motor is almost done anyway.

Chevy, atleast get an adj torque arm and dial it in. you must be bending the **** out of the stock on and panrod. Mine looked like someone beat with a sledge when I tossed it.
