Default possible rotor problems

i just bought an 03 z06, and i'd have to say i enjoy the dark side. the guy i bought it from had some pretty sweet cross/slotted brakes, but i think its about time to get some new ones. there is a lot of noise, squeaky noise, and it's not really vibrating but it kind of jumps and jerks a little bit when i'm braking and low speeds. is this a sign for new rotors? and if so should i go top of the line rotors/brakes because he has the stock brakes and pads still on there? what's a good combo? thanks!

Wrong section...

But, are you saying he has cross drilled rotors on there now or stock? It's confusing.

If it jumps and jerks it's time for new rotors
