Default will a stock torque arm damage my 9" diff because its dropped?

My car is dropped and i just finished putting in a 9" rear-end.... unfortunatly i was unable to put in my adjustable torque arm (long story).... so im driving around on a stock torque arm right now.... i checked the angle of the diff with the angle finder and it said 2 degress... i was told that if it was at 0 i could seriously damage the tranny and possibly the diff...... and that its suppose to be at 4 degrees...... is this true? And if so, can i drive the car around carefully even though its at 2 degrees?

You'll be ok. Just don't beat the **** out of it too much. But:

You want your pinion to be facing 2* downward compared to the driveshaft. This is the ideal pinion angle, -2*.
