Default Just Bent My Torque Arm

I was playing around with the tune on my car and went out for a test drive.

Hit second gear and heard this sreeching noise. I did not know what had happened. rear end was vibrating and making noise. I just knew I had done some serious damage. Got home and jacked up the car. The torque arm had bent at the rear end and the rear end nose had turned upward causing the u-joint to bind. The drive shaft was rubbing on the emergency cable bracket. Man, that 416 has some torque.

What is a good toque arm setup for the street? Looks like I am going to have to have to buy one now.

from the sound of the power you are making I would suggest something such as bmr extreme tq arm. There are quite a few on the sale section right now for a decent price, I know due to the fact that I broke my tq arm today except it came off of the tranny. Also I would suggest getting an adjustable tq arm instead of saving a few dollars and getting the non adjustable version

Go with a UMI torque arm.
