problems with new rotors...please read and respond

Default problems with new rotors...please read and respond

so i just installed some drilled and slotted rotors and they are great..got rid of my jumping brakes.....but now when im almost at a complete stop, right before the car stops moving the breaks make a hidious groan....is this maybe just the rotors getting wore in or is there something else i need to be checking on??..thanks for all the help...im just trying to figure out if I need to worry about it or if its going to stop

I just Did a pad swap and swithed to hawk ceramic pads. My car does the same thing, thought they were just getting broken in or maybe it was just the pad but im not real sure.

preciate it man, but they stopped, i guess the rotors needed to get broke in..thanks for the help though

Mine did that throught the bed in period, then after that they were quiet.

Some of the more race oriented brake pads tend to make a lot of noise.

Yeah i got the Hawk hps pads, im kinda thinking its just the pad. their fine they just make noise when i slowly creep up.

did my brakes, have ebay brand drill/slot/zinc rotors and rotex kevlar semi-metallic pads.
You want to hear groan, use your brakes for the first time on a zinc plated rotor.
Mine groan a little now even after all the zinc is off the wear path, pretty sure it's just the slots of the rotor making noise. I would say it's normal, as long as no noise is present when you're not using the brakes, and the brakes are smooth and strong. Brakes should be noisy considering their function actually, and the higher performance brake setups typically make more noise.
