C6 Z06 brake upgrade to 4th gen F-body
well I guess I should have listed this C6 Z06 brake upgrade to 1994 B4C Z28 here to begin with. It's been buried under the transplant section for a while but I've got some updated car pics after the suspension settled back in. Pad choice works well but they squel at low speeds. I'll be swapping to 265/35/18 fronts to get better inner wheel well clearance with the lowered car and swapping to 315's in the rear for increased traction with my LS7.
The rest of the build-up including close ups can be found here..

next up complete big cube LS7/T56 swap into a former LT1 car with just over 20K on the clock.

Does anyone have any idea if these calipers will fit under 17" wheels if the stock 12.8" C6 rotors are used?? I have a feeling no, but I do want to do this conversion, but I want to be able to use my 17"s.
Thanks.
Thanks.

17's will NOT fit. any of them. I had to use a 1/4 spacer on al four corners with new ARP wheel studs ( cut to length) to get them on there. Additionally, an adjustable PHB is a must to keep the rear centered using this wheel. ( I had NO problemd using the stock C5 Z06 rear wheel but I wanted something different/lighter)
stock C6 rotors will not work properly with this caliper. Calipers are designed to work with the outside diameter of a rotor for maximum pad contact.
as for pad choices there are many, check out my link to the build-up ophotos and contact racingbrake.com they have several options.
