I bought my car with the Spohn TA with driveshaft loop. I like it, it seems like a quality piece. The previous owner drag raced the car MANY times and it has held up great.
The lowest point is the crossover bar. My car is not lowered yet, if it becomes a problem after I lower it then I'll swap it out. But as of now I am happy with it.
UMI makes some sick parts aswell, you'll be happy either way.

For a non lowered car the crossmember shouldn't be a problem. However, my car is lowered and going up any steep incline the crossmember rubs. Hell it sits low enough that I have hit the "covers" at the gas station where they fill the gas in the tanks underground. The other issue is the back of the t/a hits the trans tunnel where it mounts to the rearend. Some bfh'ing should fix it but I haven't had the motivation to take it back off to clearance the tunnel.
If I had to do it all over I would buy one of the t/a relocation crossmembers from UMI or BMR then buy a after t/a as well. Their crossmembers tuck up alot more and would also get the t/a mounting point off the tailshaft.
I can't really complain though as I only payed $250 for my Spohn t/a.

My car is lowered with the spohn crossmember mounted arm with loop. It scrapes on large bumps in the road and you feel it! Its nothing bad though, the very bottom of that crossmember is just scratched.

I have a Spohn, and I would buy it again in a heart beat, but not the one designed for true duals. It KILLS ground clearance. I couldn't even get up my driveway.
I have true duals and the crossmember is the straight bar, no bend in it. My x-pipe rests on it. I put some heater hose in between and I have ZERO vibes or extra noise.
