Question Summit springs?

I'm working on a daily driver for my little sister; not a performance suspension at all! She wants to go a little lower than stock and I've dumped so much into this car for her already... has anyone used the Summit drop springs yet? and what are some descent shocks that don't cost $100 bucks a pop?

Thanks guys!

interesting.. i haven't heard of those springs.

no info on what the rates are.

springs should not be purchased based on price.. they're all roughly in the same range

you should call them and find out who makes the springs for them and what the rates are.. report back to us i'm far too lazy

they LOOK like a nice stiff linear spring in the front.

Never used them myself, but if you aren't concerned with the springs actually benefiting the ride, then go for it!

Those are Pro-kit rates.... And there was a guy who got them over on camaroz28.com and wasn't impressed. Pro-kits from Eibach have issues from time to time, can't imagine what ones that are being sold more cheaply have going on. Maybe painted vs. powdercoated? Maybe blems from Eibach? And FWIW, when you can only "claim" a drop within 1/2" that's trouble. And we know that Eibach claims 1.25", some are while others have been as low as 1.75".....

I think you are going to get just exactly what you pay for.

Its gonna be tough to find a decent set of shocks for under 400 bucks for the set. You can get shocks, but nothing really that good.

to be honest i was running summit parts on my old nova, spent 4500 bucks on the whole car summit parts are designed buy other companys, for example there wires are made by talyor , and so on and so i would not doubt that they got the springs design from eibach
