Default Strano sway bar owners inside! (Or Sam himself)

I've got a Suspension Techniques 35mm solid front bar on the car right now with the stock rear bar. I really want to set the car up for the twisties, but do make the occasional pass at the dragstrip MAYBE twice a year. My concern with the ST bar is the multi-piece endlinks... Those lil bushings are a pain to keep track of when disconnecting the bar for the track!

So my quesiton is, does the Strano front bar work the same way, or does it have "more-solid" end links like the stockers?

I don't quite understand what you mean by 2-piece end links like the stockers...

I replaced my ST 35mm front bar with a Strano bar, and both bars used the same design end links.

I dont know what u mean either. 2-piece? The endlinks for the Strano bar and the stock bar are exactly the same.

Maybe a term like "more-solid" would define it. The stock end-links didnt have all the little bushings in it like the ST does... and they were very easy to disconnect and manage. The ST one has a bunch of little pieces that makes taking it on and off a pain.

All the bars for the car use the same style endlink. The GM link uses a spacer tube with the two washers to support the center bushings attached. Aftermarket links use separate washers and spacers.

Basically I use just what you have with the ST bar. The GM links also have the 4 bushings, there is just very little difference in the design (though the bolts are the bigger in ours).

If it's such a pain. Epoxy or glue the bushings to the washers, then you have half as many individual pieces to deal with when you take them off.

I would change to a Strano bar if your concerned with front end weight reduction over the 35mm ST bar, not about the endlink pieces. Especially since they are all the same endlinks anyway.

I have the ST bar and the hollow bar, there both great. Having a rear bar really balances the car out. I would get you a rear bar and see how you like that.

The ST bar works very well, it's just so damned heavy. 15 pounds is a lot of extra weight to drag around.... and having been crowned by bars over the years, getting hit in the head with one that's 15 pounds lighter is, while not fun, not nearly as much of a bell-ringing event.
