Default getting some sportlines. Shock q's

Whats a good shock for a daily driver thats raced on saturdays and some wednesdays? I'd like for the ride to not be garbage and I would also like for the shocks to help with handling/launching.

The rest of my suspension is totally stock still.
Thanks in advance guys!

Good luck with the sportlines not being garbage. If I were you I would choose different springs/appropriate shocks.

I just installed brand new Sportlines and Bilsteins. Needless to say I ordered Koni SA's and Strano Springs a week later.

Seriously save yourself time and money and forget the sportlines. They are garbage!! Yeah the car looks cool. But it wont look so cool when its falling apart from the shitty ride!!

I don't think sportlines are appropriate for a daily driver/ drag strip spring. Those are more for a lowering the car as much as possible show spring.

well ****.... I only drive like 40 miles total a day, the longest trip I make is when I go to the track, thats about 30 miles each way.

there is No shock that will at all be beneficial with these springs?

I don't believe so, from what i've read/heard they lower the car too much with wacky spring rates. Because of this even adding really good shocks such as Koni's to the equation won't help things.

Konis work great with lots of different springs, but Sportlines suck. They are way too low for the spring rate, and you end up bouncing off of the bumpstops a lot, which is a major reason they ride so poorly. They in no way improve the performance of the suspension in any measurable way.

Prokits are a little better, but the rears will sag and leave you with the same problem. I'd get Strano springs and Konis if I were you.

I only drive my car 12 miles a day and the sportline and bilstein setup was UNBEARABLE!! It was a HORRIBLE ride.

Basically you said you wanted something for daily driving and also something that will help you launch better. Ride quality is subjective and what one person considers good ride quality another person might think is garbage. I doubt your gonna think Sportlines will give you good ride quality. You have to try them I guess and see for yourself. Konis are probably gonna be a decent bet, but I don't think it would help much.
