Question Brake problems still??????

Need some help with some brake problems that I'm having please.

Long story short this has been going on for a while.
--- I've flushed and replaced the fluid, no air in the system. (ATE Super Blue)
--- Replaced brake pads and rotors. (Brembo blanks and Hawk HPS pads)
--- Fixed a frozen guide pin and greased all other guide pins.
--- Checked the brake booster vacumm and it's fine.

Here's what's going on, the car stops straight and performs perfectly at low speeds, under 80mph. If I hit the brakes from higher speeds especially over 100mph, the brake pedal gets firm and the car does not want to stop. It's not like brake fade you get from stock pads, the only things left would be the master cylinder or the calipers themselves. What do you guys think?

If I slam on the brakes at autox really hard, my pedal fights back. I honestly don't know for sure what it is but most people say its the ABS. I've also heard that the car thinks its in "ice mode" which really fights your foot back. When I'm more smooth on the brakes but still firm, I don't have the problem. Under panic stomp braking I do. I've looked it up in the past and I never found any good solution to it except for ditching the ABS system.

How hard are you stepping on the pedal?

That's why I'm confused, I can slam on the brakes and the car stops fine. If I apply 50% pressure, from say 100mph, the pedal gets stiff all of the sudden and the car does not slow down at the same rate unless I apply more pressure. This only happens stopping from higher speeds.

if it gets firm when you hit the brakes its a vacuum problem. if your master cylinder was going out you pedal would hit the floor. i dont know why it only happens over 100, i dont try to do 100-0.

Cool, that helps. I'll check the vacuum again. It seems that the more that I need the brakes, the worse they perform, and the pedal gets really firm. Thanks for the input.
