99 front suspension on a 97?

99 front suspension on a 97? so im fixing a friends 97 v6 camaro and it needs the left front suspension replaced does anyone know if 98+ suspension will interchange.

I do believe that they will fit fine, but the LS1 spindles have different caliper mounts, allowing for the larger LS1 rotors.
I used to have a 94 and one of the best mods I ever did was switch to LS1 brakes. They were about twice as powerful as the LT1 brakes and made it seem like the LT1 car were dangerous with such a lack of stopping power.
If you do use the LS1 suspension, you will need LS1 rotors and calipers too.
EDIT: You HAVE to do both sides, not just one side if switching to the LS1 suspension.
