Default 99 front suspension on a 97?

so im fixing a friends 97 v6 camaro and it needs the left front suspension replaced does anyone know if 98+ suspension will interchange.

I do believe that they will fit fine, but the LS1 spindles have different caliper mounts, allowing for the larger LS1 rotors.

I used to have a 94 and one of the best mods I ever did was switch to LS1 brakes. They were about twice as powerful as the LT1 brakes and made it seem like the LT1 car were dangerous with such a lack of stopping power.

If you do use the LS1 suspension, you will need LS1 rotors and calipers too.

EDIT: You HAVE to do both sides, not just one side if switching to the LS1 suspension.

Only things different are the spindles (different brakes) and the V8 car would have different springs. V6 LT1 springs and V8 LS1 springs are interchangable because the engines weigh the same.
