Default Is this wheel hop?

Ok...

Whenever I get on the gas a lot (more than 3/4 in 1st... aka to get the tires to spin) my gear shifter shakes to the right and left very rapidly and the car shakes all over the place... it's coming from the rear end for sure.

I do however have a poly tranny mount. It tightened things up a good bit (even though my stock one had no tears in it at all.) The shift lever only shifts left and right when power is planted half an inch or so. The motor mounts are not broken either.

So I'm assuming this feeling is wheel hop? It is only when the tires spin, otherwise shes smooth. If I am taking a turn while the tires spin it gets way worse, as most of the time in a straight line it spins the wheels freely (we get wet winters here.) However if I plant the power down hard on dry pavement, 1st gear will spin no matter what up top for me, and it'll shake the car and make the shifter (and obviously the drivetrain) freak out and shimmy.

Is this wheel hop? If it is, what should I troublshoot to "fix" it?

if you feel a violent side-to-side vibration when the wheels are spinning, that's wheel hop. there are several ways to reduce/eliminate it, the two most common options being to get stickier tires and LCA relocation brackets.

I have the exact same issue. I have Adj. LCA, BHD shocks, Strano bars, adj. PHB, 315s tires but no aftermarket TA.

Strano told me it could well be the stock TA flexing.

i have super bad wheel hop in 1st, hitting 2nd and 3rd. I have already done the UMI LCA poly/rod with the relocation brackets. didn't solve it. Now i have a UMI TA in my room waiting to be installed.
