I'm not sure how brakes are related to gas mileage. I've seen people mount their rotors each way though.

^^That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

What way the slots go depends on the rotor, what matters is that the vents on the inside are pointed in the right direction.

if the discs are too wide and they are rubbing, you would have noticed this when you put them on. something else is going on and its just coincidental that it started happening after you did the brakes. my .02.

I agree. I don't see how these affected you mpg if they fit on no problem.

My Wilwoods run like a saw blade, but more street based setups are the other way. Most Vette's I've seen are setup like my Wilwoods. So contact the rotor manufacturer if your not sure is my best response.

I put them on by their recomendation. Just seams odd the MPGs went down at the same time. They fit just fine. I compared everything to the stock stuff. They also hum when I hit the brakes. Is that normal for slotted rotors? Maybe it is just time for plugs and wires.

FYI, this is for a 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT.

What pads did you put on? Slots do chew into the pad and will make a chomp sound regardless
