Brake Help.
So im lookin to upgrade my brakes in my T/A i need some help im not extreme and need 6 pistons but i want something decent for a good price any help is good thanks.

I think he meant he doesn't need a 6 piston setup after reading that a few times, but i may be wrong. If your gonna upgrade the brakes on a budget, get some stock vette rotors and calipers and some UMI C5 brackets. Should be enough for ya unless you're saying you do need 6 pistons... in which case you could pickup the wilwood kit. I think thats the cheapest 6 piston on the market for our cars.

haha yea i dont need the 6 piston sorry about the confusion. is the c5 upgrade fairly easy? I am mechanically inclined i fix fighter jets so it shouldnt be that hard right.

If you want a cheap upgrade that will make you brakes work very well and be reliable then that can be covered by using stock calipers, good blank rotors, a full ATE brake fluid flush, good brake pads HPS or better, replacement of the shims, clips, rubber boots for pins (Autozone brake hardware kit 20 bucks), and clean/regrease caliper guide pins.
From what I've heard, the C5 brake setup works very well. Though I think more of the benefit comes from the increased heat aborbing ability, and it is quite a bit heavier than stock brakes. It looks badass too. I use the above though with the stock brakes in my autox/speedway setup
