Any aftermarket poly transmission mount would be good choice Vs. the stock tranny mount for curing certain issues. Why are you considering this?

My LT headers used to bang often and I switch the factory tranny mount to a poly unit and it fixed the issue in about 15 minutes of effort. Motor mount changes are more diffucult and time consuming.

yeah, i was wondering this as well, is it really necessary to replace the motor mounts with poly as well when upgrading to a poly transmission mount?

No it's not necessary, you could run any combination of poly and rubber. There's strong and stronger, stiff and stiffer but anything's better than broke. Poly can increase vibrations over good rubber ones, that's a fact.

If you do decide to switch to a poly trans mount, go ahead and get the poly motor mounts. If you run a stiff trans mount and stock mushy motor mounts it puts stress on your bellhousing and can cause it to crack.

I put on an Energy Suspension poly mount and it sure does transfer more vibrations. Just be ready for it as some don't mind it, some hate it. I also have the ES poly motor mounts.

just run the stock rear mount. if you upgrade to solid or poly motor mounts youll prolly be annoyed if you have a poly trans mount. i will be running a new oem trans mount and solid motors

I run solids and a stock tranny mount.

No engine movement + no interior vibes. I love the setup.
