Budget brake system

Budget brake system
I wanted Eradispeeds for their awesome looks and warranty against warpage but realized I could get four sets of AutoZone rotors for the same price, $40 ea. front, $60 each rear. I heard AutoZone rotors are actually pretty good and don't warp nearly as bad as stock. I have 35k on my factory rotors and pads. How are they different than stock? A guy on here told me not to waste my time turning the factory rotors but that I could turn AutoZones..??
As far as pads, what about Raybestos Quietstop Plus? I also heard these were nice and have low dust. But, they don't make them for the rear, at least my AutoZone doesn't sell them. So I was thinking about EBC Greenstuff instead. Any opinions? Anyone heard of Akebono ProAct Ceramic pads from Tire Rack?
What about Thunder's Package for $600. Include's Stainless lines, Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors all around but I heard bad things about Powerslot and heard the hawk pads are aggressive on the rotors and don't stop well cold. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Budget brake system
I'd personally say Autozone rotors with Hawk pads and stainless lines. I've been running the Hawk's from TR ( 90-HB249F575 Hawk Performance Brake Pads, 98-02 F-body, FRONT ) for 2 years; no fading, minimal dusting and fine in the cold or when cold. I did turn my stock ones one time; still using stock at 41K miles and several dozen autox. I'll be buying autozone rotors next spring with new Hawk pads. I recall from reading that the Powerslots are prone to cracking. As far as how is the autozone different than stock; they look identical but don't warp as quick.
All IMHO.

If you use greenstuff pads on the rear, put them on the front as well. F-bodies don't like having more aggressive pads on the rear than on the front. I'd match them up, or use the greenstuff on the front and a stock rear pad. Braided lines...for a street car, I can take them or leave them (I have stock lines now...it stops well and pedal feel is great as long as you bleed them once in a while). For the price of autozone rotors ($40) you can spend a couple more dollars and get OEM Brembo rotors (Brembo has been in this game a long time, mine work great) for $61 each at tire rack (fronts) and a bear "upgrade" kit from t-byrne motorsports for the rear ($199, but should have pads and rotors....I need to verify this, I may order that kit). Just my thoughts.

I know this is really late responding hehehe but I use Akebono ProAct Ceramic pads from www.tirerack.com and haven't had any problems at all. I actually like them. I've placed about 30K miles since I installed them. Still not showing hardly any signs of wearing out and that's includeing hard brakeing at the tracks. Stock rotors though.
They also don't give off any brake dust. I haven't had to clean the wheels anywhere near as much as I did with the stock OEM set of pads.
As for myself, I'm remaining with this set or the EBC green/red stuff set. I've heard good things about those as well.
