installing 2 point subframe connectors

Default installing 2 point subframe connectors

Any tips I should know before I start? They are 2 point (Spohn) weld in type.Thanks

Take you time and don't weld until you are sure you know what you're doing.

well the rear bolts up to the lower control arm bushing ( and gets welded) and then the front welds up to?

the frame rail thats inline with the lca i believe.

no problem hope it helps. make sure you have bare metal on the subframe connectors and on the frame before welding anything.

Make sure the car is sitting flat and level on all 4 tires so you are not welding them to a slightly twisted frame.

Yes take your time. As my dad always says measure twice, cut (weld in your case) once.

The rear of the SFC bolts into where the LCA is and the front gets welded. I wouldn't weld the the rear

make sure your temp is right on the welder, and get a good strong weld on it. but everything said above is extremely important.

So some are saying to weld the front portion only and leave the rear bolted to the lower control arms??

Weld it all, those who say otherwise don't do much racing
if you just use the LCA bolt in the rear it won't be half as rigid as it should be.
